A CAD/CAM system was developed based on the gears kinematic meshing simulation and contact point analysis. This system provides the designers with a powerful tool on the cutters geometries design and cutting tip trochoidal analysis. Hobs and Shaving Cutters which can be designed in accordance with customer's requirements and obtain optimum tool life and optimized design of each parts of tool blade
* Integrating customers' requirements to design with machines set up to the data measured by the Gear Measuring Center which are all accomplished together by the computer-aided design (CAD).
* In the design of Shaving Cutters, it can analyze the force equilibrium to attain the stability during the machining and to obtain the final teeth profiles as well as provide the Resharpening Diagrams of the correlation between "the tooth thickness and outside diameter" which can provide customers with the data to follow when they need to perform resharpening work.
